Healthy Relationship, Healthy Marriage Program

Helping Mothers Have Healthy Babies

Program Overview

Program goals for this new initiative are to engage partners to improve their communication, coping and parenting skills and improve relationships and family stability. Healthy Relationships utilizes a 8 session curriculum titled: "Exploring Relationships and Marriage with Fragile Families." This Program is funded by the Center for Father's, Families and Workforce Development - Peer Learning Network and will provide Healthy Start pregnant and post partum clients, and their significant others, with tools to successfully parent their children, and maintain a healthy relationship and marriage (if they decide to wed). Dinner is served during the sessions and transportation and childcare are available.
