The service is facilitated by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Certified (LCSWC) and includes direct counseling, required documentation, making and following up on outside referrals, and reviewing cases with appropriate case management staff. More Info Healthy Relationships, Healthy Marriage GroupThe Healthy Relationships, Healthy Marriage Program offers 8 week sessions on exploring relationships and marriage with fragile families for healthy start case managed clients, and their significant others. The sessions are co-facilitated by Healthy Start staff and community partners certified in the curriculum. More Info Early Childhood Development ProgramHealthy Start has designed an early childhood development (ECD) department to provide developmentally appropriate activities in a center-based environment for children while their parent(s) or caregiver are attending groups or accessing services within the agency. More Info Home Visiting/Case ManagementCase Management entails the coordination, review, and management of services delivered to Healthy Start clients and their families. Deriving from a comprehensive plan of interventions, case management activities are carried out primarily by Neighborhood Health Advocates (who are outreach workers) under the supervision of a Case Manager.
