The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development has awarded a 5 year grant to Healthy Start to intensely investigate family functioning around health issues that include looking at stress and allostatic load, family resiliency, and systems barriers that impact families. Full Story

Healthy Start Celebrates Very Low Birth Weight

On September 20, 2007, Healthy Start held a press conference to release the client very low birth weight which meets the Surgeon General’s goal in Healthy People 2010 of .9% of live births. Full Story
